Project Overview Sewer System Improvements

Project will consist of rehabilitating defects in the sanitary sewer collection system that are identified in the FY22 sanitary sewer evaluation survey (SSES) Project. Potential rehabilitation efforts will include cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, manhole rehabilitation and miscellaneous point repairs. The project is part of the City of Auburn's <a href="">Other</a>.

The contract was awarded to Vortex Services, LLC by Auburn City Council on July 16, 2024. The notice to proceed was issued effective October 15th, 2024. Contractor completed initial cleaning and pre-CCTV during Thanksgiving break. Contractor mobilized to begin CIPP work and manhole rehabilitation work the week of 12/16/2024. Lining of the sewer main beneath Jordan Hare Stadium is expected to begin 12/26/2024​.​
